Round of questions

In a round of questions, a company can ask for clarification with regard to the tender questions. You can influence your application by asking intelligent questions. This is an often neglected but very important aspect of a tendering project.

Score table

Another word for a score table is award table. Tedner ensures that your strong points are optimally visible and that you score well. You will see this in the score table.

Tender project

Submitting a tender is a project-based activity: within a few weeks you should have taken a number of steps and come to an optimal submission. This requires considerable internal effort. Unless you get Tedner in. Experience shows that we take at least 80% of the procurement effort off our customers’ hands. Tedner also ensures that all internal staff are on the same page and that you exceed the client’s expectations.

Plan

The term “plan” is an informal umbrella term for documents with which the government questions the market. It is also known as the descriptive document or program of requirements.

Tender spotting

Europe has hundreds of websites on which tenders are published. Tedner monitors these websites for its clients and keeps them informed of possible projects. It is also called ‘tendersignalering’, or signalling tenders.

Network

Signing up for a contract provides a good view of what the government wants and what questions they have. In addition, Tedner has a large network within the government and we often know very well what is going on. We are happy to help you expand your network with the government.

New business

New business is the entry into new markets or the expansion of client portfolio. You achieve greater business success if you know how to get more from the tendering instrument.

Statement of Requirements

In the Statement of Requirements, the government sets out in writing what it wants. What future requirements does the community or the organisation have? This is also called the Request to Purchase or Purchasing Project Plan.

Award decision

In the award decision the government motivates the winner of the tender and gives reasons why others have scored fewer points. The document is sent to all participants. However, an award is always initially a provisional award.

Memorandum of Information

The Memorandum of information contains the answers to questions posed by the tendering parties during the process.

Award criteria

Award criteria are the criteria according to which the application is reviewed, and include quality, delivery time, sustainability, plan of approach. We distinguish price criteria from non-price criteria.

The most economically advantageous tender (MEAT)

This term refers to the tender and the company with the best proposition, best value for money, the tender that wins.

Descriptive document

The descriptive document is the primary document of the tender. It is therefore also sometimes known as the tender guidelines or tendering document. In this document, the exact nature of the project is described and how it will be awarded. It includes the procedure, forms, and all other information pertinent to signing on for the tender.

Publication

Publication means setting out a tender on Tenderned, including CPV classifications where appropriate. It is a concise description of the contract, the criteria, duration of the contract, etc. It is also called the announcement.

Market Research

Using a market research survey, the government lists the strengths and weaknesses of its markets. It provides answers to the question of how companies could address the stated requirements.

Statement of Requirements

The PoR is the expanded version of the statement of requirements. It contains the standards with which the construction, service, product or supply of goods must comply. Also known as Specifications, Requirements and wishes or plan.

Contract

In a round of questions, a company can ask for clarification with regard to the tender questions. You can influence your application by asking intelligent questions. This is an often neglected but very important aspect of a tendering project.
